Clever, with yet thoughtful vocals, combined with Sloane’s electric guitar driven country sound
“It’s current me talking to younger me, with a few messages…..Don’t be so hard on yourself; there’s plenty of people who will try to tear you down, you don’t need to be one of them. There are some people you can always count on, don’t take them for granted. Finally - chill out a little bit and take in the view.”
“You don’t always have to be sad about moving on, sometimes it’s a good thing. The picture of someone driving off in a Taxi is more memorable than an unmarked car so I specifically used the word “Taxi” to paint the picture in my song.”
“This is a party song with lyrics and a melody that are easily accessible to listeners. The tone is a little heavier, but it's still upbeat. My signature sound, electric guitar driven country, comes through loud and clear. Who's ready to PARTY?”
“Inspiration for this song was thinking about a hot summer day chillin’ on the lake. To capture that feeling, the music reflects a laid back mood, with a catchy tune.”
“This song started with a simple chord. When I heard it I thought of the word “hope”. It is an optimistic song about never giving up on looking for the right person for you. The tone and vibe are upbeat in nature, coupled with a delayed rhythm guitar to round out the sound.”
“I was thinking about how people are attracted to things not good for them. Hardy's writing style and cadence was a heavy influence. I think his lyrics are catchy yet thoughtful while the rhyming patterns are unusual, which is what I was striving for. This is my debut song and will be always be special to me.”
…has been in the scene since 2011 when he started playing electric guitar at 6 years old (and can't remember a time without it in his hand). At 11 he hit the road playing live gigs throughout the Carolinas and now throughout the Southeast.
Sloane is a seasoned professional in a live music environment. In his years of performances, he has been a solo act, the leader of his own project, the lead guitar of someone else’s project, and most recently a “hired gun” in the regional music scene.
Over the past few years Sloane developed a passion for songwriting, focusing on his favorite genre - country. Sloane’s writing style and music delivers on a gritty, yet rich vocal tone, supported by an electric guitar driven sound complete with riffs that are a combination of blues and shredding. His lyrics are direct, yet clever, and relatable to all ages. Sloane garners inspiration from Hardy, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Luke Combs.
